The location was good for day trips, and the staff were friendly and accommodating; the rooms were clean and practical, with all installations working perfectly. However, there was little traffic, yet it was still noticeably audible—which isn’t a surprise given the location. A small drawback was that the bedside reading light couldn’t be switched separately for both sleeping spots.

The surroundings were beautiful, the rooms comfortable, clean, and well‑furnished (with a fridge and water heater), the breakfast was plentiful, the staff were friendly, parking was free, there were deer sightings, goat grazing, and hiking opportunities. The initial steep climb to reach the hotel was shocking, but it gets easier with time.

Close to the train platform, the breakfast was excellent. I forgot a key in the room, and the owner kindly brought it to me on his motorcycle for the train.

Silence and peace, great views, and the breakfast was served but very good.

I loved the room and the balcony view; breakfast was amazing. The road to the hotel is narrow and has many turns (I know this isn’t the hotel’s fault).
