MALVARROSA BEACH FAMILIAR

The place is close to the party and easily reachable by public transport. The rooms were dirty, with unpleasant odors, stained walls, dirty furnishings, torn and stained curtains, and a supposedly years‑old uncleaned air conditioner. A shelf was propped up with a board, extremely hazardous. The mattress lay on a rusted iron bed, uncomfortable and unstable. Other furniture was worn and flimsy. We did not receive a pillow. Kitchen utensils were dirty, doors were corroded, and entry was cumbersome. One room had no window at all. This is the worst, most useless apartment we have ever stayed in.

“Very basic”

The flat is quite large and close to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cleaning lady treated us kindly. However, there is no elevator (four floors), the stairs were dirty and a dead cockroach was found. The building is old and needs renovation. Curtains and windows are broken or unstable. It is acceptable for short stays, and I understand the need for profit, but given the price, better service and conditions would be preferable.

“Desepcionada”

The location is close to the beach and the flat was clean. I did not like that the washing machine was in bad condition, and the main bedroom door was damaged. We got stuck with my husband; the lady said she did not know the door was damaged. It is a fourth‑floor unit without an elevator, and that information should have been disclosed before booking or listed in the location. Carrying many suitcases is exhausting. The description says the house has air conditioning, but there is only one unit in the living room and it is in poor condition. For a supposedly tourist‑grade apartment, it clearly needs a lot of investment.

“Lo mejor la cercanía a la playa”

The proximity to the beach was good. The TV TDT was hanging, the remote controls worked only partially with a broken cover, a fan in one room was unstable with a broken stand, the toilet lid was broken and kept falling. In another room the wardrobe was attached with wood, many exposed cables, the air conditioner drained into another room and you had to empty the bucket regularly. Parking was difficult after 21:00. I did not know it was a floor without an elevator and I did not check carefully.

“Desagradable”

Nothing. Everything was bad: the house was dirty, furniture was broken, fans were broken, the bathroom smelled horrible, the dishwasher was full of salt, the washing machine door was damaged and my clothes got stuck inside. I spoke to the lady, she said you could pay for the beach towels you bought from the Chinese, and that was it. I told her I had kids’ clothes, and her reply was very unpleasant, implying the kids would have more clothes. We had to sleep on the living room floor because that was where the air conditioner was. I also mentioned the broken wardrobes, that I was with two small children, and she said they were broken by previous guests and people kept renting. They could stop advertising the flat and fix it; I would not return or recommend it.
