The reception was very friendly and the room was small but had everything needed to sleep.

The location is great and the terrace is nice, but the cleanliness was very poor and the Wi‑Fi was awful.

The hotel is a clean, tastefully renovated family property on a quiet street in the centre of Mirleft, with a post office, ATM, shops, markets and restaurants nearby. A friendly French couple run it with their family, giving it an authentic feel. The on‑site restaurant serves tasty dishes, and the owner will prepare a special menu upon request. We stayed in a family apartment – two double rooms linked by a passage, a shared bathroom with sink, shower and toilet, a shoe rack and a sofa in the corridor as a living area. The layout is interesting: windows with shutters lead from the rooms into a central open corridor that connects to shared toilets. In summer the rooms can be stuffy and hot, and if you choose to sleep with windows or doors open you have to give up the maximum privacy typical of a hotel. This also applies to the bathroom and toilet, which are covered by a curtain instead of doors – a bit freestyle. The rooms and bathroom are clean and stylishly furnished, the power outlet is by the bed, Wi‑Fi is fine, towels and linens are new and clean, and the mattress is comfortable. Breakfast follows Moroccan customs (bread, butter, jams, cheese, amlou, olives, orange juice, Moroccan tea), plus good coffee, a French baguette and pancakes. For a solid price, this is an unusual accommodation in the lively centre of Mirleft, yet on a quiet street so the street noise doesn’t bother you. The only downside is that if the hotel added air‑conditioning or a fan on request, the rooms would be less stuffy in summer and you wouldn’t need to sleep with windows or doors open; closing the shutters would suffice.

The staff were good, but the city centre noise was annoying.

The location was fine, but the comfort was lacking – it was very hot and the room had no window facing outside.
