“시끄럽고 텃세 오지는 스태프들 싸가지없고 게스트방에 같이 상주함”
The place was just cheap, my regular hostel was close, and the restaurant and cafe nearby let me try all the foods I wanted, including the patbingsu cafe that served free drinks. The hostel staff ate all their meals there and chatted loudly with guests and the owner in front of everyone. The room was filthy and the bed creaked badly from the start; a Chinese woman was shouting loudly on the first day, the trash was left in the middle of the room and the bathroom was a mess and never cleaned for hours. The hosts kept talking loudly like guests, and the foot thumping was constant. The hosts weren’t even the main ones, but new guests were the same; shoes were moved from the shoe rack I left, they chatted among themselves, and guests and hosts mixed in each room, claiming it was a mixed dormitory with men and women separated. The shower door was accidentally left open, and when I went to close it, a female staff whispered “Could you close the door?” in a sharp tone, saying I had no manners. Everyone was demanding extra fees; it seemed like a work‑holiday or student visa situation, and they treated the hostel as their own. I tried to stay quiet, turned down media and game sounds, and kept my footsteps light, but they kept talking and thumping, which was a real nuisance. When I mentioned it in a message, they said it was normal background noise and called me a sensitive person.
