The location was lovely with a great pool and a nice little river, plenty of space overall, but I was missing an air‑conditioner.

The estate feels timeless beside a river where you can swim; the breakfast is exceptional under the trees on a terrace overlooking the water, the house is spacious and the rooms comfortable—sleeping here is a dream.

The riverside spot comes with a private beach that’s fantastic, and the host’s welcome was perfect.

The place was great, the rooms were roomy, the pool was good size, and the private river beach was wonderfully quiet, but the Wi‑Fi didn’t match the description.

The setting on the Cèze is stunning, the river is deep enough to swim, the pool is well kept with a nice poolhouse, and the old building has a charming, easy‑going style; the kitchen is fully equipped, there are lovely terraces, table tennis, and a pétanque court. The hosts are very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable, and there are two adorable dogs. Entry is via coded gates because the property is in a traffic‑free zone, which worked well. Walking to the waterfalls is easy. We had a wonderful stay and already look forward to returning. The only issue was that the shower in the bathtub was too short for us to stand in, which isn’t a problem for a short stay but would be preferable for a longer one.
