The spot is spot‑on – right where you want to be – and the room comes with a tiny kitchen that could have been handy, except the fridge was rusty, missing a shelf and gave off a nasty smell, and the linens, while clean, smelled like they’d been tucked away for ages. The breakfast coffee was weak and the spread very basic, nowhere near what you expect from a hotel café.

This place nails the location and the building feels solid, with a rooftop pool that offers an amazing view. Breakfast was fresh, varied and tasty, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
