Although our flight was cancelled and we unfortunately missed our first night, we were warmly welcomed by Jean Nicolas when we arrived the following day. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, giving us great recommendations about the town and the best places to explore. He made sure we felt comfortable and at home throughout our stay. The location was exceptional, just a short walk from the churches I wanted to explore, and everything was conveniently within walking distance, making it easy to discover the town. We absolutely loved the character of the house, with its antique furniture, creaky floorboards, and authentic vintage decor. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast each morning was a real treat, with fresh bread and local yogurt that I especially loved. On our last morning, Jean Nicolas kindly made us crepes, which was such a lovely touch. He also generously let us use the breakfast area to enjoy our lunch one day. Of all the places we stayed during our trip, this was our favourite, mainly because of Jean Nicolas’s genuine kindness and welcoming hospitality. We felt at home here and would love to return one day. Highly recommended!

Unique spot. Very kind host. Located in the heart of Puy en Valey. If you like something different than the soulless hotels 13 to the dozen, you’ll adore this place!

Une adorable vieille maison dans son jus, on fait un bond de 100 ans en arrière ! Draps en lin, plancher qui craque et sent bon la cire … et un patron accueillant qui donne plein de conseils sur sa ville
