The owner v friendly. The shower surprisingly adequate with hot water and reasonable head, loo clean. What you'd expect?. The room had no windows, single bed was v old pine thing and bedding worn and I was a little worried about getting under the duvet, so folded it in half and slept in that. The 'pillows' so old, thin and threadbare. Duvet in its cover but not clipped. The TV didn't work (not a major for me) but it was old, small and only terrestrial? The room was filthy dusty, old, worn out with redundant fittings, etc. I sensed it may have been an old former stable? Two persistent flies were a distraction. The walls, celling etc were so old and 'knocked up' I didn't want to look closer. The power was v poorly provided, trailing cables, old adapters, dusty, dirty, tangled. There were tea bags and sugar and a kettle (scaled), but the drink glass was dirty. To be honest, I was really pleased to be out of there
