The hotel blew me away. It has an elevator, mini‑fridge, working AC, and a safe in the room. Its location is unbeatable—right in Rome’s center, within walking distance of major sights, and just steps from bus stops. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were kind and helpful. I missed breakfast because I was out early, but my family loved it—they serve freshly brewed coffee made to order and bakery‑quality cornetto! (Starts at 8, but 7:30 possible upon request for us.) The room was comfortable and nicely renovated. I also arranged their airport transfer from FCO to the hotel. It was a great rate (It wasn’t a regular white taxi, so it was well worth it), and it was a total lifesaver. The driver was professional and gentle. Outstanding value for money—honestly a better experience than many 4‑star chain hotels back in Canada! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. Keep in mind it’s a historic building, so they can’t do much with the sewer system. (A sewer odor can happen.) However, the washroom was clean and renovated in a modern style.

“Location perfection and generally great stay”

We had morning tours, so we only sat down for breakfast once, but it was good. They offered to send us a breakfast basket to our room the evening before so we could eat before heading out for the day—very nice! The location was also absolutely fantastic and probably the best part of staying here. Taxis were right outside the door; it was a central spot where we could walk to everything. The only downside was that the bar below the hotel had live music one evening that was quite loud in our room, so if you’re noise‑sensitive it may not be the best spot on certain nights.
