The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, particularly with breakfast arrangements for those returning from the climb in the morning.
The food was absolutely delicious.
The hotel is conveniently located near the start of the climb, making it a great choice for early risers.

“Great”
The service was excellent.
The place was clean and very well located, but there was no hot water in the morning after the climb.
“Bra läge och bra pris.”
The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, with a little stream trickling under the balcony and a lot of bird life, plus a view of Sri Pada from the mossy hillside. Breakfast is good and well-presented, and the french fries for dinner stand out as truly tasty. The staff are friendly and quick, and the food is generally well cooked. No need for A/C or a fan; it’s cool enough for a northerner, and the icy shower wakes you up in the morning. Here you walk down into the hotel, not up.
“Simple mais efficace pour passer une nuit avant l’ascension.”
The room was very spacious and bright with a beautiful view of the river, and it was close to the departure point of Adam’s Peak.
“It's a backpacker's hotel: Right size your expectations”
The hotel sits close enough to Adam's Peak that walking to the entrance is a breeze, and the manager plus wait staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet on our second night was delicious. On the downside, the room décor was very sparse and outdated, fitting for a backpacker’s place. We only got cold water in the shower, though hot water was available at the sink, and the linens needed cleaning. The biggest hassle was having to climb up and down three steep flights of steps to reach our room after already climbing Adam's Peak.
