The accommodation is very nice and in a good spot, with everything close by (metro, pizzeria, café, shop). Communication with Gennaro was excellent. The room is small but clean and cozy, and the bed was comfortable; the pillows were a bit too firm for me, yet we slept well. The elevator was a plus since the lodging is on the third floor. There’s a kitchenette in the common hallway, and a water bottle was kept in the fridge. If we return to Naples, we’d gladly stay again. We wouldn’t change anything about the stay.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and had a modern look. It’s near the metro station and the famous Starita pizzeria. The host was exceptional—friendly, polite, and helpful.

From the start we felt completely at ease. Gennaro is an incredibly friendly and attentive host, always ready to answer questions. He even sent a small item we’d forgotten back home. The room and bathroom were clean and exactly as shown in the photos. In the hallway there’s a small area with a coffee machine, microwave, some dishes and cutlery, plus coffee, tea, water, and light snacks for guests. A big plus is the elevator, handy if you have heavy luggage. The location in Materdei is perfect, in a quiet side street just 4 minutes from the namesake metro station. A small supermarket is about a 10‑minute walk away, and mini‑markets are right around the corner. The neighborhood has many bars and restaurants, though most were closed for holidays, which is worth noting if you’re visiting in August like we were. In Materdei and the neighboring Sanità you’ll find the original Naples—vibrant and lively, which we really liked. The trendier tourist areas are easily reachable by metro in 15‑20 minutes. We wholeheartedly recommend the place and would definitely return.
