“Excelente alojamiento, limpio, muy buena ubicación.”
The front desk lady was incredibly friendly and helped me a lot with directions, but the night shift receptionist was not very pleasant.

I liked that the hotel was in the center and my room was quiet.

Everything about my stay went above and beyond. The room was spotless—smell it the moment you walk in. The desk staff were the best, helping me right from the start. When a taxi driver dropped me off in the wrong area and gave me bad directions, I called the hostel and they guided me. Another team member helped me find a taxi and gave directions. The staff at OYO Hostel Myeongdong 1 are rock stars. The only drawback was the breakfast, which was a little “lean” compared to another hostel I’d stayed at before.

Good on both sides.

The place is ultra‑central, just steps from the metro. The room was clean. The laundry service offers room‑delivery for a ridiculously low price. The building hosts a restaurant on the first two floors, so the elevator can smell a bit and sometimes you’ll share it with staff and carts carrying food or dirty dishes. The shower is the only downside: there’s no separate enclosure, so you end up flooding the whole bathroom.
