The setting is calm by the mountain, with a shuttle to the slopes, and the restaurant is excellent.

The room was very comfortable; we were three and they gave us two connecting rooms, so there was plenty of space and two bathrooms, which made for a great value. The location is good for the slopes, especially since the hotel provides a free shuttle to the lifts and a ski storage at the lifts. Entertainment for kids and adults is nice and fairly varied during the stay: there are small evening shows and a kids club all day. They also organize winter excursions for non‑skiers. The restaurant’s offerings, both dinner and breakfast, are rather poor and not up to 4‑star standards. Breakfast is basic and the pastries are all industrial. The savory options are few and not good. The gym is tiny and lacks equipment. The pool is small for a hotel of this size and is just a plain rectangular pool with no kids’ play area; this means that if you relax by the pool you’ll get splashed by those playing and hear a lot of shouting. There is no hot‑tub. The wellness area is paid, which is odd for a 4‑star hotel and even more so for a mountain hotel where everything would normally be included.

Sansicario Majestic is a nice property. The staff is attentive and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant is well run and the food is good quality. The shuttle to the slopes runs very frequently and is spacious. There was a mix‑up with my reservation at the hotel; I had to wait 10 minutes but the front office resolved everything quickly and diligently, even upgrading me to a junior suite. I hadn’t expected an entertainment staff, having only booked a weekend of skiing, but I was pleasantly surprised by the evening I attended. Everything else was fine.
