The campsite hosts were extremely friendly and chatty, offering us a lot of help and showing me that backpacking can actually be quite fun; the location is a bit remote, so getting there without a car or motorbike is inconvenient.

The host was welcoming, the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. They even gave us a beach bag to take to the other site with a pool near a beach. Good local recommendations. We loved hearing all the nature sounds from the glamping tent. Some noise from cars on the main road, though that didn’t bother us.

I absolutely love the glamping at Eagleye – the tent layout is clever, with small touches that make it cozy, even better than many hotel rooms. They supply wine glasses, so just bring your own bottle. The property manager is incredibly friendly and goes out of his way to make guests feel at home. I also stayed at the other Eagleye spot on the island, which was charming with plenty of cats. The only downside is that arranging a taxi in this remote part of the island is tough.

Randy's place is a serene retreat, with a peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding. The location is quiet and secluded, and the cats are adorable companions. The tents are spotless and cozy, with plenty of opportunities to spot birds from your doorstep. Just be aware that Grab might not be readily available at all times, and there are limited food options in the area, but that's to be expected in a more rural setting.

We were blown away by this glamping experience - it was 1000 times better than we expected. The bed in the tent was super comfy, and we loved sipping coffee on the veranda in the morning, surrounded by nature. Randy, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We also loved using the homestay, which had access to a beautiful beach and pool. We'd definitely come back here again.
