“A lovely relaxing stay.”

The location and rustic charm stood out. Linda and Dick welcomed us warmly and offered cups of tea and coffee, even acting as local guides at a nearby market. Breakfast was excellent and tailored to our preferences. It would be nice if tea and coffee facilities were available in the rooms. Finding the place was not easy, but Linda provided a simple guide. She might consider renewing the pillows; the pillow cases were spotless but the pillows themselves were quite thin.

The place is lovely, tucked off Main Street in Pessac-sur-Dordogne and just a short walk from a great restaurant with a view of the Dordogne. I didn’t encounter any problems.

Linda is a kind, discreet, and helpful host. The decor is unique, yet the accommodation is comfortable and clean. A few details need attention, such as the toilet glass and stains on the duvet cover.

Linda, an American who speaks French fluently, gave us a warm welcome and stayed discreet during our brief stay at her bed & breakfast. A reminder: in B&Bs the owner is present during your stay (I had forgotten that). The photos match reality; the house isn’t modern but captures the charm of a lifetime spent there. We slept well, the breakfasts were good, and the setting is beautiful, with the Dordogne just a few meters away, great walks, and amazing scenery within reach.
