The location near the Kurpark and the three stars at the entrance were positives. The breakfast was spartan, the room was a cramped basement worker’s lodge, room No.3, with a constant unpleasant artificial odor. The shower was dirty with rusty drains in both the shower and sink, and hand soap was only available in a wooden dispenser, matching the poor hygiene of the toilet brush. I took photos but will spare readers the view. I had to check out early after one night. The three stars remain only at the entrance because they cannot be removed, so at least the “star” quality is consistent, giving guests a momentary sense of having made a good choice.

Great location, just a few steps from the Gradierwerk. The room was functional with a comfortable bed, and the staff were very pleasant.

The location is convenient and easy to find. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was good. The only downside was that the beds felt a bit hard.
