The staff were friendly and the location was great. Every day I found unfamiliar black hair on my bed – none of us have black hair – and both the shower drain and shower fixtures were dirty, as was the sink. Our room was on the second floor, and each time we flushed the toilet we feared water would splash back onto our bathroom floor from higher floors. The water sprayed with every flush from upper levels onto our bathroom floor… we raised the issue, but no help was offered. The maintenance man claimed it was normal, which it wasn’t; it happens when the pipe is severely narrowed by deposits. Other long‑term maintenance concerns that need attention: the toilet flush buttons fall apart, the shower seals need replacement, the side table wobbles because a leg is missing, and the elevator lobby on all floors is consistently dirty and never vacuumed (except on the ground floor).

We absolutely loved the hotel; everything was spotless and the lobby felt cozy and contemporary. The location was incredibly convenient, allowing us to walk almost everywhere for four days, especially enjoying strolls along the Thames. Breakfast was tasty, high quality, and very affordable for London standards. The 3‑star rating pleasantly surprised us – it was a truly beautiful hotel.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were efficient and helpful. The room was clean, recently renovated, and larger than typical London standards. Nothing to add.
