“Sparse and a lacklustre breakfast with friendly hosts”
Breakfast was more like a snack bar with pastries, a store‑bought sandwich, a cappuccino, and yogurt—no fruit or eggs. The hosts greeted us each morning and the room was clean with a functioning air conditioner. However, the location was inconvenient, roughly a 15‑minute walk up a hill to the nearest metro, passing noisy roads and unpredictable drivers. The balcony door faced a wall, and the room was tiny, sparsely furnished, with no wall décor and barely enough space for two suitcases. Four rough‑feeling towels were supplied, and the lighting felt cold and sterile. The price didn’t justify the experience.
