“Incompetent rude staff, dirty accommodation not serviced. Locked out in a typhoon for no reason. Do not stay here.”

The view was good, but staying at Xoi Residences was a nightmare; I spent four nights there and it ranks among the worst experiences I've had. Mosquitoes swarmed the place, yet instead of fixing the issue, the staff created a useless Zalo group of 13 people who did nothing and didn’t even know which room I occupied. I got bitten badly throughout my stay. The room had a nice view, but the ceiling was filthy with cobwebs. Over four days, the bedding was never changed, the bed was never made, and towels or bathroom essentials were never replaced. When I asked for a new toilet roll, I was told maintenance had left it on the first floor and I should fetch it myself. The worst moment came during storm Kajiki when I returned to find the main gate code had been changed without any notice. I was left outside in the storm for an hour before they finally responded. When I pointed out how unacceptable this was, they offered no apology or compensation. Instead, I later received a threatening message saying I must be out by 11:00, or cleaners would come in regardless and they would not guarantee the safety of my belongings. Completely unprofessional, unsafe, and unacceptable. Do not stay here.

The location was great, the restaurant nearby was excellent, and the apartment was superb; every little detail was perfect :) Two free beers and water, a conditioner for the shower :) Perfect.
