The views are very beautiful. comfy bed and lovely fireplace. The Wifi does not work AT ALL so I had to move a webinar. Goats and cows roam free & came right up to the cottage, which is very dangerous for dogs. I thankfully caught my dog's collar just as she was barking and on high alert. I had no water for the last 16 hours or so, it seems one of the cow's maybe knocked out a pipe. Highland Gate Farm PROMISED ME A REFUND FOR 1 night of the 4 - and I left a day early. This was Wednesday 21 Feb 2026. Since then they SIMPLY IGNORE ME & have not done anything - and now my whatsapp messages and calls aren't going through (one tick, not sure if I've been blocked - & there's no other way to get a hold of them). Deeply disappointing. Maybe they decided to simply go back on their word
