The site looked safe and clean in the photos, and I had set up a filter to get a shuttle to the airport. I didn’t feel safe, the apartment was messy, and I didn’t stay to sleep after touring the place with my cousin. I had requested a shuttle to the airport during my search, but none was available.

The bus stop right outside the door made city travel a breeze, and the metro station was just a short walk away. A nearby natural park offered great walking spots, and the hosts were helpful and friendly. Small local shops were close by, and Toulouse itself feels very attractive, making the centre a good base to explore the wider area. I did have trouble finding the apartment within the block because the directions were unclear—partly my fault for arriving earlier than expected. If I had arrived at the agreed time, the host would probably have greeted me at the gate. The front door lock was also problematic, making it hard to exit the apartment. Everything else was great.

- Friendly and welcoming hosts. - Quick and helpful communication before arrival. - Secure and convenient parking. - The host personally explained everything on arrival and provided keys for flexible access. - Comfortable bedroom and a very nice shower. - Safe and quiet atmosphere. - Good value for money. - The accommodation is a private room in the hosts’ apartment, so the bathroom is shared. - Communication can be a little limited if you do not speak French. (As was for us) - The apartment could be a bit cleaner in some areas
