The breakfast was excellent, featuring regional ingredients, and the host Luc was flexible, preparing it according to our schedule. The accommodation, a former restaurant, is quiet, clean, and the rooms are tidy. The host is friendly and speaks German, and there are plenty of parking spaces in front of the building.

The property is in a very isolated area, with practically nowhere nearby to go for food or other basic needs. The surroundings also had a very unpleasant smell, which made the stay even less comfortable. It doesn’t really feel like a proper hotel — more like a private house that has been converted into accommodation, with very limited facilities. Considering the price, I honestly expected much better. The overall experience was disappointing, and the way we were treated also left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend staying here, especially given the price and location

The location is ideal, just a 15‑minute drive from St‑Ursanne, and the place is quiet. There’s a parking spot in front of the house. The bedroom and bathroom are clean, and Luc is welcoming. I found the accommodation a bit pricey for what it offered: no kettle in the room, no hand soap, the bathroom was on the landing, no table in the room, no trash can, no extra blanket if you’re cold at night. The dinner was good but overpriced for what it was (pasta, carrots, and sausage roasted with banana and cinnamon for 32.-; an apple juice glass at 4.50.-, which I thought was included or free). In a small Jura village, I expected lower prices than in the city.

The host’s warm welcome, the calm setting, and the ideal place to rest were all great. We really enjoyed the breakfast with delicious local products. My husband is celiac, so homemade gluten‑free bread was available, which was fantastic for him! The host even played a little piano music at breakfast, which was really nice and friendly. Adding a small table with a chair in the large bedroom, or maybe a small armchair, would be nice for longer stays so guests have something besides the beds to sit on.
