The location is just amazing: tucked away in the heart of Littondale, in the middle of a tiny hamlet, the Queen's Arms feels like something from a bygone age—a charming, unfussy, unspoilt old‑world pub. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, the staff were lovely, there was a good selection of beers on tap, and the wine list was surprisingly good! Walking around Litton offers some of the best easy hiking you’ll find in the dales; it’s pretty remote (which is the point), so you avoid crowds except in the peak season. No complaints at all!
