We were in town for a night during the Asia Games and every hotel was priced accordingly; Base Layer was exactly the rest stop we needed. Their complimentary room sprays were a nice touch and we used them throughout our stay. Breakfast included very clean and tasty congee, vegetable crepes, and a banana oat smoothie. I was skeptical about the self‑check baggage facilities at first, but they turned out to be safe and convenient. We had valuables we didn’t want in our bags, so I appreciated the locked cubby lockers. The Fruit of the Loom towels and pajamas were high quality.
