The area is right in nature. The house lacked amenities, was unclean (pillows and sheets had stains), the ceilings were full of cobwebs, the reception was cold, the heating didn’t work, and we were not allowed to light the fireplace.

The views are definitely great. I agree with other comments that it needs a bit of upkeep; the pillows urgently need replacing and the fabric covering the “sofa” also. It’s normal to find a spider or cobweb in a mountain house, but we didn’t use the upper area because when we arrived there were some, they looked like dead ants on the mattress, and when we left it was full—probably a bad roof seal. The bathroom and kitchen area were pretty clean, the floor too. It’s a shame, because with a little more care it would be an excellent place to return.

The setting is wonderful, you feel peace and tranquility. Getting there is a bit tricky because of a track. The café, which is amazing, is closed.
