Really in the forest, on the edge of the village. From the complex there's a path into the woods for walks. A big log house. Comfortable beds. There's a café. Although the beer and other food ran out and they didn’t restock it. You expect to live in the forest and be quiet, but there’s a restaurant within 150 m that works until the second night and plays loud music. Also, construction is nearby – they’re driving columns into the ground… And right next to the houses is a big tub slide that people ride during the day. The sockets in the house are of the old “old man” type, you can’t plug anything into them… Hot water comes from an electric boiler, because three people in a row couldn’t bathe – the water ran out. They didn’t warn about that. The cabin on the second floor is collapsing and leaking. The separate pleasure of closing the house doors is literally a key‑quest. Sometimes the lock‑handle blocks, sometimes it doesn’t… Very disappointed with the vacation. Won’t return.

The cabins were stunning, fully equipped with good plumbing, comfy beds, cozy furniture, a terrace and balcony. The complex sits in the woods, and another hotel with a nice pool nearby offers a discount to guests of Polyan Kvasova. Loved it, will definitely return.

The location in the pine forest is great, with lovely cabins that have a porch and balcony, perfect for a big family. Parking is available, and there's a restaurant on site plus a market and shops within walking distance. The staff are very friendly, and the price‑to‑quality ratio is spot‑on. The rooms are a bit old, windows lack insect screens, and shower water pressure isn’t always steady. We booked a three‑person cabin and expected three breakfasts, but the restaurant staff told us only one breakfast is paid for per cabin, so we had to pay extra for the other two—though the price is still reasonable. Coffee isn’t included with breakfast, only tea.

We returned to this complex for a second stay, seeking quiet to sleep and escape sirens and explosions, and we enjoyed ten full days. The site is nicely set in the forest, cozy and cool, and it’s a 10‑15 minute walk to the centre of Polany. On‑site you’ll find sports facilities including a court, a children’s playground, a tennis table, and very tasty meals at the “Koliba,” with breakfast and low prices that other guests from nearby hotels also praised. The staff were friendly and everything was to our liking; there were no mosquitoes. The only issue was a half‑day water outage caused by the local water‑utility; staff called several times and the supply was restored, and they even suggested using water from a nearby well‑fed establishment.
