The property was beautiful, thanks to the staff and volunteers; nothing was wrong.

The accommodation was great, the welcome Devonshire Tea and other food were delicious, and the staff were friendly, down to earth and helpful. The property was well kept, and the house and property tour was well worth it, offering great value for money.

It was basic with only one small choice. The location was perfect for us because a wedding was next door. The taps were in terrible shape—most stuck or dripped unless you turned them off so hard you couldn’t turn them back on. It was very old‑world, fitting the heritage area.

This was an immersive historical experience and one of the best we’ve ever had. It wasn’t just the history and the incredibly beautiful setting; the people on site were fantastic. Shout out to Jonathan, Shannon and Heidi.
