Stone Farm Hostel

The only perk was the location. Unfortunately the conditions were nothing like the photos: the house was in terrible condition, sheets were torn, the garden and benches were poorly maintained, bricks were broken, showers and toilets were unusable. Service was also awful; the gentleman who attended us after complaints still insisted he was entirely right. Breakfast offered almost nothing, but that was what we made the best of.

The spot was good and the breakfast was decent, but the room felt like a relic with an old‑style shower, the building looked run down, there was barely any light, the linens and bath sheets were subpar, and the mattress was dirty.

The place sits close enough to cities yet far enough to feel out in the country, giving a calm and safe vibe; the farm has a rustic charm, the host is warm and always ready to help, the bed was comfy and the facilities spotless, and breakfast was handy with fresh bread, coffee, and orange juice—highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing escape. Everything else was fine.

We were greeted warmly and the common area was great; the pool was good and breakfast was solid. The room and bathroom cleaning left something to be desired, with stained sheets that smelled bad, and the shower floor had a drain hole that leaked.
