The place was stunning, with gorgeous views, and the staff were incredibly friendly, even though we had a language barrier—they made sure to help me out. The only downside was the food; maybe it’s just that I’m American.

I liked the size of the pork chop. You could attach anti‑slip pads under the bed legs; trying to read with the back against the wall always causes the bed to drift away.
