The location was idyllic. Blair was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, polite, and easily contactable. We appreciated the extra healthy touches to our breakfasts. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the whole place exuded the relaxing ambiance we wanted. Nothing else to add.

The setting and building were gorgeous and distinctive; every room offered beautiful and comfortable touches (books, antiques, puzzles) all presented tastefully, with no detail overlooked in amenities or comfort, and the innkeeper was very welcoming and helpful.

The atmosphere, the Victorian Suite, and the garden were all lovely, but the staff were impatient at breakfast time and we didn’t get served because we arrived just before 9:30 a.m.

The location and the place are delightful. The house and rooms are unique, come in various sizes, and have a special design. Above all, the attention to breakfast and the personal service from the owner are remarkable. A special hotel that we want to return to.
