A beautiful property in a lovely park, very close to Bordeaux and quiet; I had the chance to stay at both the château and the annex, and if possible, staying at the château is preferable.

The hotel’s location was good and very quiet, though nothing was within easy walking distance, so meals and drinks required a car or taxi; there is a restaurant on site that we didn’t try, no bar, and although we were told drinks were available we didn’t try them; as a place to sleep and have breakfast it was perfect, but there were no extra amenities on site; we didn’t need them because we were there for work, leaving early and returning late, but if someone is looking for a hotel to relax and stay on the premises during the day, this would not be my recommendation; it would be nice to have a bar onsite, and after a long day, having somewhere at the hotel to relax before going to bed would have been nice.
