“Super pobyt, napewno wrócimy”

I highly recommend staying at the B&B; it’s clean, comfortable, and the conditions are more than enough for a few days. The bathroom is spotless, everything works, and it’s great that they serve breakfast, even if it’s sweet Italian fare—you can always grab something in the morning and have coffee or tea. The big advantage is its proximity to the metro and the Vatican, plus everything else nearby. The area is generally safe and nice. Check‑in is easy and straightforward.

The breakfast cannot be shared with another room, which can be an issue if you have to leave at the same time.

The location is perfect—close to the metro, the Vatican, and many restaurants, and I recommend the restaurant on the corner. I had the terrible experience of being robbed in Florence (we spent the day there), and they helped me quickly and efficiently. In the robbery I lost the room key, and when I returned to Rome later that night there was no reception staff available. They were kind, empathetic, and proactive, and they also let us leave our luggage after checkout without any hassle. The breakfast is quite simple and the same every day; we stayed four nights and would have preferred more variety. It was a trip with my dad, and we preferred breakfast at the hotel. If I return, I’ll book without breakfast because there are many nearby options. I would still come back despite this.

“AVOID- INFESTED WITH BEDBUGS!!!”

The only decent thing was the location. The apartment was infested with bedbugs; I got bitten and initially mistook it for mosquitoes, but after a few nights my legs were covered in blisters, and a look under the mattress revealed clear signs of infestation—see the pictures below. The staff was unhelpful, refusing to change our room or pay for another hotel. They claimed ignorance, yet the infestation was moderate and had been ongoing for weeks and months, which shows the hotel is dirty. The room was not prepared at all—only the linen was changed. The mattress and its cover were dirty, the toilet had brown stains on the outside, corners were dusty, the wardrobe and other facilities were filthy, and the bathroom doors didn’t close. Another couple also complained about hygiene. The staff lied, asked to speak to the owner/manager who was apparently unavailable—typical unprofessional response. We didn’t eat breakfast, so it didn’t matter much, but what was offered was not great either: two stale croissants with a small selection of jams and the cheapest orange “juice” from Carrefour. Overall it was awful; I can’t understand these reviews at all, which is also suspicious. We had to throw all our stuff to avoid bringing it home, my birthday was ruined, and my skin is still itchy.
