A very good hotel on the outskirts of Dresden. It has its own restaurant with a very good menu. The city center is easily reachable by tram or bus. There are free parking spaces. Not to be forgotten is an extremely nice woman who organized breakfast and listened to every special request. She deserves our special thanks!

A lovely old Kurhaus on the edge of Dresden, with a tram that takes you straight into the Neustadt and the city centre. The staff could use better organization and friendliness, and on Sundays they wake guests up at 9 am.

My husband and I spent three nights at Hotel‑Restaurant Kurhaus Klotzsche, a charming older building that shows a few cosmetic flaws on the exterior but shouldn’t deter you; despite expectations of a noisy casino crowd on weekends, we heard nothing, enjoyed a large, clean room that faced the street yet remained quiet at night, and found the breakfast buffet thoughtfully arranged and well‑stocked, with enough food for late risers without waste, plus coffee on request. I also want to highlight the free parking, which is rare in the city, and the perfect public‑transport links—just a few metres to line 7 and you’re in the historic centre near Frauenkirche, Theaterplatz and Altmarkt. I can say with confidence that this will be my hotel of choice whenever I return to Dresden; I can’t think of any downside.
