The staff were incredibly friendly, and they let me park my motorbike on the hotel grounds.

The hotel is simple, clean, and well‑located with a warm welcome and friendly staff. It’s close to the funicular that takes you down to the lake. However, the room and furnishings are basic, the breakfast is modest, and there’s no sound insulation between rooms—bring earplugs. At this time of year we could park our car, but I doubt that will be possible during peak tourist periods.

The staff were the most hospitable I’ve ever met—so kind, always smiling, and helpful! They even stayed up late to make sure we got home safely and had a warm meal. Throughout our stay they took great care of our comfort and ensured we had a fantastic time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The hotel and room matched the description and photos on the website: a small, bright room that was clean and tidy for a night’s stay. The only downside was that to get to the hotel you need to take the funicular; we waited in line for exactly an hour just to get on. By the evening it was already clear. The time spent is offset by the stunning view of Como and the lake at night. Breakfast was modest but sufficient for a quick bite.
