There was no kitchen, but there was a microwave that I didn't use. A nearby supermarket existed, but I couldn't go because the hours didn't match. At the parking lot, a farmer had an unmanned vegetable stand selling pesticide‑free tomatoes and bell peppers for 100 yen, which I bought and found fresh and tasty! The riverside had a few small bugs, but there were insect‑repellent sprays available to deal with them.

The next day I was completely refreshed and felt great. The only downside was the security.

I stayed in a small room that the owner had renovated himself with DIY. The finish was stunning, the place felt clean, and I was very satisfied. The bed was a sofa‑bed, so my long legs kept poking out of the mattress. Still, for the price it was more than enough. Paying less than 3,000 yen for a stay like that is unbelievable, but it was here! Thanks a lot. The B&B has nothing to do with me, but the town’s loudspeaker next to the house plays “Kokoro” at 21:00 in a huge volume. On top of that, at 5:00 in the early morning it blasts “Koi wa Aoi” loudly. I was shocked and jumped out of bed. Is this a local custom or a rule? 5 am is just too early, isn’t it?
