The room was great, more like a small apartment with a large bedroom and very good beds, a vestibule with a table and chair, a big bathroom with a tub and shower. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was the best. We only stayed there for one night, which was sad.

The staff were super welcoming. We took a tour of Lake Constance, and there was space for our bikes. The room was comfortable and the restaurant was delicious. Thank you.

The breakfast was a la carte and delivered fresh right to the table; the bread was sensationally tasty! Ramani, the warm and friendly staff member, fulfilled every request—whether it was a boiled egg or yogurt—and kept smiling throughout the morning. The chef was also always ready with a kind word, making me feel very welcome. My late arrival from Germany was handled smoothly by my brother on site, and any missing items were promptly addressed, like a small nightstand lamp that was quickly provided. The view from the room straight onto Lake Constance is amazing, the bed is comfortable, and the Wi‑Fi is perfect. The inn sits quietly on a hill, cars park directly in front of the entrance, and Konstanz is just 30 minutes away at the border. I couldn’t try the warm kitchen because I was constantly on the move, but the ice cream was delicious, and the beer could be enjoyed in the lovely terrace garden at night. It was ideal for me since my brother lives only 5 minutes from the hotel, so we could easily meet up for activities. I’d happily return, especially now that holiday apartments are being built next door—maybe I’ll stay again next vacation. The room was spacious and satisfactory, but I’d like a picture or something above the bed to soften the otherwise stark feel; the nails should be removed from the wall, and the broken picture frames replaced. These touches would improve the cozy factor, especially on a rainy day when you spend the whole day inside. A shelf in the shower for soap and shampoo would also be nice, though that’s only possible in the tub. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Great value for money.

Nice spot, good restaurant, breakfast was decent, flexible evening check‑in to match my schedule. The price felt high for what was offered: the room was minimalist and not very comfortable, on the second floor without an elevator (luckily the very kind waitress and another person helped me carry my luggage), the bathroom was on the landing, etc. I also felt a bit cheated at dinner: arriving late, the owner offered me a dish without telling me the price or giving me many options; I expected the usual 15‑20 € for a single plate, it was good, but when I saw after finishing that it was charged 32 CHF (about 40 €), the digestion was a bit tough… The next morning, the person in charge of breakfast and housekeeping frowned because I left at the latest check‑out time (11 a.m.); she made it clear she would have preferred I left earlier since I was the only guest, so she could finish her work sooner.
