The staff was friendly and the area looked safe. The shower didn’t work properly and the mosquito net on the bed didn’t close completely.

I liked the spot because it gets me straight to the train station for a trip to Mombasa or the airport. The room was roomy, the bed huge, and the hot water never ran out. Breakfast was simple but filling. A big supermarket is a 15‑20 minute walk away. The place is very noisy; the soundproofing is basically nonexistent.

Close to the airport, just a short drive away. The kitchen delivered food quickly and well. The room, especially the bathroom, was dated, but everything still worked.

The manager was great, super helpful and always smiling. We got an amazing vegetarian curry from Kalvin, who cooked it just for us because it wasn’t on the menu. The bed was huge and the most comfortable of the nine hotels we stayed in Kenya. The airport was 17 minutes away by Uber. Unfortunately the shower leaked, soaking the floor after five minutes; it was a bit hard to do anything in that area, but a one‑night sleep before the flight was fine.
