A cozy, simple place where you can enjoy excellent local Pyrenean home cooking in the evenings. The hosts were very friendly. Breakfast includes homemade yogurt and excellent jams. To our delight, it wasn’t just the owl that called at night, but also the first of the roaring deer. So, despite being on a pass road, evenings and nights are very quiet.

Good breakfast with local, km‑0 products like jams, butter, pastries, yogurt, and coffee. A bit of savory food would have been nice, but that’s hard to find in France. I’d give the breakfast a 7. The pillows were small, square, and uncomfortable.

The staff were friendly, simple and kind; the rooms were decorated simply and you feel wonderfully comfortable there. Dinner and breakfast were very generous.

The reception was very pleasant, the barbecue evenings and garbure (excellent) were lively and convivial. The food was very good. The hotel is very well located near Payolle, Aubisque… The value for money is very good.
