“AVOID - do not stay here”

Nothing to praise. We booked because we’d stayed eight years ago and loved it, but this place is a disaster: the receptionist spoke almost no English, gave us a key and left us to find the room, then 15 minutes later told us to bring all our stuff downstairs because we could no longer stay. We were moved to a supposedly upgraded hotel in the same chain, but that room was filthy too. The original hotel had a dirty carpet, hair in the bed, curtains sagging, and we felt unsafe. The power went out and was later said to be turned off deliberately; the person who came was barely fluent in English. There was cooking in the room with a strong odor. We left because we couldn’t stay there, requested a refund, and were ignored. Totally disappointed—this isn’t the hotel we remember from eight years ago, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

“Rainy but fun family time in blackpool”

Good location, but they used paper cups instead of proper ceramic ones. There was no host on site—just a key box and details sent to you, which was fine but I’d have preferred someone present.

Óptima Localização, quarto confortável, frigobar no quarto , parque de estacionamento pago pelo cliente próximo. Hospedaria-me novamente . Não ter tapete no banheiro para enchugar os pés após o banho, o lençol da cama de casal não era de boa qualidade , o cheiro de mobília velha na entrada principal, acho que é por se manter a janela da recepção sempre fechada e não entrar vento

“Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.”

The location. Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. After a long day in Blackpool, we were looking forward to getting a good night’s sleep, but at 5:30am we were woken up by loud banging coming from the roof, which completely ruined our night’s sleep. This was particularly frustrating as we had another long day planned and wanted to be well rested. The room itself wasn’t as clean or well maintained as we expected. There was dirt in the bedside table drawer and dirt and stains on the skirting. The mattress also had noticeable staining/discolouration. The room had tea and coffee provided along with a kettle, but there were no cups or mugs provided. We had to look around the hotel and eventually found two paper cups in the lounge, which was disappointing and not what you’d expect when tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in the room. Overall, the room felt like it needed a much more thorough clean and some general maintenance. The combination of the cleanliness issues, missing basic items and being woken at 5:30am meant that we left feeling very disappointed with our stay
