The staff were friendly and the guided tour was enjoyable, but the rooms felt a bit outdated.

The food was truly delicious, the location is very central, and the large garden is lovely.

The hosts Raj and Neema welcomed us like family, and we ate together at their spacious communal table; Neema’s cooking was very varied and exceptional, better than most restaurants, and Raj was very helpful and available; Neema, an official guide of the fort, gave us a very interesting tour, and the price was very modest, though the room and bathroom condition isn’t great, but given the cost it’s hard to complain.

Wonderful hosts Raj and Nima, who not only share stories and show the city and surroundings but also serve tasty homemade food, and the room is literally inside a 16‑century castle wall – where else can you find that?
