A lovely old house with charming Victorian décor. We stayed in the spacious Manor room, which featured a beautiful fireplace, ceiling, lamps, wood panels, and more. It could have taken better advantage of the lovely old house and grounds—improving the garden and adding a common area such as a breakfast room or bar would make it truly fabulous. A little TLC and it would be amazing.

I was working nights, the room was quiet and well equipped. The staff were helpful and left me alone, which was just right, and the location was good for my work with amenities available locally.

The room was okay and the receptionist was friendly. I had to tell other guests to keep it down; there was shouting and laughing outside my door late at night. Many guests arrived between 10 pm and midnight, causing a lot of noise and car alarms. That made the experience horrible.
