The host was fantastic; nothing was outstanding, and the building was beautiful, though we stayed out of season. The pool was closed, but we were informed. The room was plain and the beds were too hard for us.

Breakfast was plentiful and prepared with a lot of care by the host, but when booking we had to choose between “above” or “below”; it would have helped to know that the “below” option was actually a basement with a light shaft, not the ground floor, which we did not want.

The location was super good and well kept, and the pool was a real highlight; the welcome was very friendly, though the host and his wife only speak Italian, communication worked with translation apps. Breakfast was a real bonus with fresh, plentiful items that were hard to finish. Unfortunately the rooms were a bit lacking – little to no natural light and no balcony, but for a one- or two-night stay that didn’t matter much since you’re just sleeping.

The host was very friendly and the breakfast was diverse and good, but the window in the room was a shaft window and the room was on the ground floor.
