The place was really clean, and the location was obviously perfect for St. Pauli, even though the area is noisy as expected. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was nice, great vibe, clean. The bathroom was amazing, the natural light, everything, it was super cozy. The bed was very comfortable. I was also extremely tired after having traveled, so I'm probably biased, but it was a good place to rest during the day. So if you have a super early flight into Germany, take the train for 3 hours to Hamburg, then walk all the way to the room, then yes it's a very nice place to crash and recharge for the evening. Otherwise, please see below. Very steep stairs. The code on the door didn't feel very secure either. And you have to address the noise. You read the reviews, you think "I can handle it". You can't. It's incredibly noisy. And I don't understand why, it's not some unalienable right to sing bad karaoke until 3 am on a weeknight. I don't understand why that karaoke bar next door has to go on until 3 am, and why it has to be so incredibly loud! It sounded like they were in the room with me, and I was at the very top of the building. Can't imagine how it is for the lower floors. I don't understand why nobody tells them that quiet hours are from 10 pm, by law. There are ear plugs in the hallway, I personally didn't get them because my playlist of white noise is able to drown that out. So this is my recommendation to you all. Play white noise, pink noise, any color noise, for a few hours until the music stops. You will fall asleep easily. Also I'm looking at the price now, writing this review, and I guess I forgot I paid that much. That's way too much money. It is not worth that much money. There is no staff. There is no security. It's just a tiny room on top of the noisiest bar I've encountered in my life

The room was very clean, the location was great, and you can get anywhere quickly on foot or by train. The surroundings were very loud (although I wasn’t there on weekends), but they offer free ear plugs. In the room there was an emergency exit sign that glowed so brightly I had to cover it with a cloth and it was still very bright.
