“An enjoyable stay”

The host, Scott, was very personable and apologized for not offering breakfast on Friday morning because he had a teaching engagement, but he directed us to Sames & Cook coffee house where we had a wonderful breakfast. The house itself is amazing and furnished with period furniture, though that furniture is not overly comfortable. The room was very warm, but fortunately the cool temperatures helped it cool overnight.

“Beautiful place with so much history, and the host Scott was amazing!!”

Scott was amazing! He handled the check‑in and prepared an amazing breakfast each morning. The bed and breakfast were beautiful, the room was perfect and featured a jacuzzi tub. I will be back next year! The entire stay was amazing.

The owner was very friendly and the check‑in was smooth; I had no issues throughout my stay. I appreciated that the owner checked in with me about the breakfast regarding dietary needs. No issues whatsoever!

“Location, food, architecture, cleanliness and hospitality.”

The location was excellent and very quiet, and the homestead transports you back one hundred years with taste and prestige, featuring twelve‑foot ceilings, oak craftsmanship trim and woodwork, stained‑glass windows, and more—truly amazing. Breakfast was a must; our host offered a quiet, tranquil four‑ to five‑course breakfast with special twists. We would definitely return just for the breakfast alone! We weren't able to stay longer.
