La Bonita at Los Elementos

The room was well equipped with an exceptional lake view and very spacious, but the location was very isolated and you need a boat to do almost anything; the apartment sits in a pass‑through area with many windows, so the room lacks privacy and there’s no blackout curtains, meaning you always wake up to sunlight, which isn’t necessarily bad.

The location is practically a single room facing the lake. There are spiders the size of a hand (though I guess that’s normal, and the bed has a mosquito net for that).

A perfect spot to unwind, it feels like a little cottage right in front of the lake. The sunrise view is gorgeous, the birdsong and the mountain backdrop are amazing.

The views are fantastic and the privacy it offers makes it a great place to escape city noise. At night, when I arrived, the pier felt lost in darkness because everything was closed, and inside my room I found many spiders, which took some of the peace away. I also think the price could be lowered a bit since the shops and restaurants are a bit far.
