Sandra’s place is beautiful, quiet, and a great place to relax. Outside the room there are hammocks to lie down in, and the family‑style accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The shower is good, and the breakfast was delicious, featuring homemade granola made by Sandra herself. She was very helpful and gave us local tips. The location is excellent, close to Poço das Fadas, Cachoeira dos Macacos, and Aunt Iraci. I highly recommend it for those seeking peace and good value. The only downside is that the breakfast could have been included in the stay price. Overall, everything was great and I would stay again at Sitio Salamandra.

The place is very pretty, peaceful, and comfortable. The studio is well equipped with a small kitchen for making meals. The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot, and breakfast is excellent! I would definitely return.

The lodge sits in a gorgeous natural spot with total silence, and the 60 m² loft is fully equipped, quiet and private. The boiler‑heated shower was a nice comfort, and breakfast was prepared fresh with local ingredients—Sandra’s homemade granola was especially tasty. Sandra herself was always attentive and made us feel right at home.

Being right in the middle of the forest was a real treat, and the host’s recommendations and care made it easy to explore the Matutu Valley. The location is perfect for anyone looking to get out and see the area.

The cottage was spotless and cozy, and the owner’s breakfast—made with quality local produce—was a highlight, especially the fresh granola. The property borders the Três Marias waterfall and the river runs through it, giving us starry nights, soothing water sounds, and easy access to the nearby Cachoeira dos Macacos. The futon bed was surprisingly comfortable, though on the third night it felt a little odd, but that’s a tiny issue compared to everything else.
