The apartment was centrally located in Madrid, which was great. We were a family of four—two adults and two children aged 17 and 15—and we rented a duplex with a double bed, which was fine. However, the sofa bed was in a terrible state: it made noise with every movement of my children and was extremely uncomfortable, making it hard for them to sleep. I asked for a replacement sofa bed or an alternative solution, but the staff outright refused to respond. Their attitude was very disappointing and regrettable, especially since we paid for accommodation that should comfortably accommodate four people. Bedding quality is essential, and it’s unacceptable to leave guests in such a situation without trying to fix it. I’m deeply dissatisfied with this lack of consideration for guests and hope this complaint is taken seriously.

The location is excellent, right near Puerta del Sol, and the staff respond via WhatsApp almost immediately after you message them. Breakfast is served on the basement level and is pretty good; I’d suggest adding eggs (scrambled or boiled) because everyone eats eggs nowadays. Check‑in is done through an app with a code, which is very easy. There’s also a locker for luggage. The only downside was that the access to the second floor where the other bed is located was a bit difficult—the stairs are very steep—and when it rained heavily, water entered through the windows, so we had to lay several towels. Everything else was very good.

The position was good. The number of electrical outlets was insufficient, and there was no night light.

The location was good, but otherwise there wasn’t much else. A garbage bin was in front of the window, emptied at night. There was no reception, it felt extremely anonymous. The rooms were not pleasant; it felt like being in a caravan.
