“A Gem that I will stay at on all my future visits to Fort Collins.”
I stay at many budget motels and always review them, and this place is a rare gem! Located off Rt 287 in the northern part of Fort Collins, parking is good, and one building is currently being worked on. The recently remodeled office is cheerful and bright. Host John greeted me with a quick, friendly check‑in. I asked for a room on the first floor and was given one. I always check the room before moving in. It smelled fresh and clean, with no strong scents. Floors, walls, glass, mirrors, sink, bathroom fixtures, and outlet covers were all spotless. The remodeling was meticulous, with bright tiles and some of the best chalking in a bathroom I’ve ever seen. A large stuffed sitting chair had a washable clean cloth cover, a nice touch. There was a tabletop desk area with a slick new office chair where I sat for hours writing letters and postcards. All standard amenities—heating/cooling, lighting, bathroom fixtures, bedding, TV—were working well. I have friends who recently moved to Fort Collins, and I’ll use this motel for all future trips to the city. The only drawback is that there’s no breakfast listed or offered, but there are plenty of nearby fast‑food breakfast options, and if you’re up early there’s a 24‑hour Waffle House off Rt 14 on the east side. Traffic can get busy with a right turn only to exit the motel, but it’s a small hassle considering the value.
