We stayed there for one night between 15 and 16 October, and Paolo welcomed us in a wonderful way—she’s incredibly kind and gave us great tips for getting to Florence and where to dine, making us feel right at home. To show how attentive she is, she surprised us with a nice bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday when we returned… she’s fantastic. The next morning she served a very generous breakfast with both sweet and savory options. The room and attached bathroom were spotless and had all the comforts needed for two people. Thanks, Paolo, we had a great stay and it was a pleasure meeting you.

“Visiting From England”

The host was great. Paolo helped us a lot even though we didn’t speak the same language, using a translation app to get the message across. He offered rides to and from the tram line whenever he could, and the tram was within walking distance. The property itself was charming, Victorian‑style, and very comfortable – I’d definitely recommend it.

The host was exceptionally warm, attentive, and sincere, and the house was a beautiful retro style with lovely collectibles. The room’s amenities were complete and convenient, the bed was huge and comfortable, and the surrounding area was quiet; we woke up to birdsong in the morning. The host even prepared breakfast for us in the morning, which felt very ceremonial and refined – my first stay in such a place and it was a novel experience that I was very satisfied with. No negatives.
