The spot is easy to locate, visible about a hundred meters before entering town. The host is a young woman, and she is very warm and welcoming. The basement kitchen has basic amenities: you can heat food, and there is a refrigerator for storage. The room looks out directly at the mountains (no snow‑capped peaks, but the scenery is still quite nice). The only thing that could be improved is the room temperature, which can sometimes be a bit low. The heating is only on at 9:30 pm. You can ask the host to turn the heat up. Oh, by the way, there’s one more thing: the parking lot here is huge, making parking super convenient.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for years; my husband and I always choose Gold Kazbegi because it’s a relatively new hotel with good orthopedic mattresses, which is vital for my back. The hotel is quiet, each room has a balcony where you can step out and breathe, and the rooms with mountain views are especially nice.

The welcome was very pleasant, even though we arrived after midnight; the staff upgraded our room category as a complimentary gesture—thanks to the lady who greeted us! The beds were comfortable, all bathroom amenities were present. The only downside was a sewer smell from the bathroom and no bottled water in the room, so you have to go down a floor to get it.

The location is convenient; you don't have to climb a mountain or sift through thousands of identical buildings to find the hotel. The staff at the Terrace are very friendly and the terrace offers a view of the mountains. It was cool because heating in the country hasn't been turned on yet.

Finding the place is a breeze thanks to its convenient location. The hotel has its own parking, and the rooms are clean.
